NSFC Enrichment

Charity Crafting Challenge
To provide students with the opportunity to learn a new skill (knitting, crocheting, felting, embroidery) and develop relationships with other students. Every student will be set an appropriate/personalised skill level task. Students will be given a different challenge every week.
What will you cover in this enrichment
Week One
Students will be given instructions on how to felt. They will be put in to groups and asked to plan a 3D felted scene before beginning their project.

Week Two
Students will continue to work on their 3D felted scene. Groups will present their scene and be judged with prizes given to the best scene.

Week Three
Students will be instructed on how to knit or crochet. They will create squares that will be joined together to make a blanket or many blankets that will be donated to charity.

Week Four
Students will continue to work on their blankets.
​
Week Five
Students will asked to designed and create their own embroidery pattern to give as a random act of kindness.
​
Week Six
Students will continue to work on their embroidery to gift to their chosen person.
